PARQUET RENOVATION

Has your parquet floor been damaged by water, fire, stubborn stains, or deep scratches? Don't worry — our certified parquet specialists can expertly renovate your floor and, in many cases, fully restore it, making it look like new again.

During a parquet renovation, the damaged sections of the floor are carefully removed and replaced with new wood of the same wood species and finish as your existing parquet floor. In this way, the character and appearance of your floor are preserved. After the damaged sections have been replaced, the entire floor is sanded and re-oiled or lacquered so that the surface becomes even and no color difference is visible.

How does a parquet renovation work?

  1. Inspection and preparation
Our parquet installers first carefully assess the damage to your floor. Based on this, we determine whether a partial renovation is possible or if replacement is necessary.

  2. Replacing damaged parts
If possible, we remove the damaged floorboards and replace them with new boards of the same wood type. We pay close attention to the direction of the wood grain and the structure so that the result blends seamlessly with the existing floor.

  3. Sanding and finishing
Next, the entire floor is professionally sanded to make the surface even. Afterwards, we apply a high-quality oil or lacquer finish, depending on your preference and the type of floor. This restores the natural shine and protection of your parquet.

Please note: for wooden floors that are fully glued to the subfloor, renovation is in some cases not possible. In those situations, we advise on the best solution, such as complete replacement or partial repair options.
